After an impressive 2023/2024 season, where she helped Jonina Football Academy reach the Ghana MN FA Cup Quarter Finals, Vida Opoku’s hard work has paid off with this remarkable international opportunity.
Her journey to success is nothing short of inspiring. With a rich history in Ghanaian football, Vida Opoku represented Ghana's U17 and Women's National Teams from 2012 to 2016. She also showcased her talents at three FIFA U17 and U20 Women's World Cups and earned a bronze medal with Bayelsa Queens FC at the 2022 CAF Women's Championship League in Morocco.

Vida Opoku’s defensive prowess, goal-scoring ability, and twice being named MVP with Jonina Football Academy helped secure her team's 5th-place finish in the Women’s Premier League. Her talent and determination led to this next chapter in her career, with the management of Jonina Football Academy proudly announcing her international deal.
